Pride Scholarship

This June in celebration of Pride Month, a month dedicated to the recognition and celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community. We wanted to give back to the community that has influenced so much of fashion and take this opportunity to demonstrate our values in action. 

At DISSH, we celebrate diversity in all facets and acknowledge the continued work and achievements of the LGBTQIA+ community in making this industry what it is today. Our mission is to ensure the industry we know, and love continues to diversify at the hands of those who bring new perspectives, new sources of inspiration, and new voices to creativity.

Applications now open

To show our support and invest in the future of fashion, we are proud to share the return of our Pride Scholarship in 2024. This is an Australian wide initiative to contribute $15,000 to the tuition of one LGBTQIA+ creative fashion student.

Eligibility:

Identify as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community
Be a current student, or enrolled to commence study this year at an Australian Licensed Education Provider
Be studying a degree/course within the creative industries
Be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident

What happens next:

Applications open 3rd May 2024
Applications close 16th June2024
Our 2024 recipient will be notified ahead of the announcement on June 21st 2024
